About Us

We are an experienced interdisciplinary team of Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists.

Children with Autism have varying and complex needs benefiting from a collaborative team approach to capture information for diagnosis, treatment, and future planning. Because of this, assessments will always be completed by at least two team members.

What Does an Assessment Involve?

Assessments are family-centred and individualized to each child’s needs.

Families are provided with a quote based on their individual family needs. The total assessment cost will range from $3800-$5000.

Diagnostic assessment involves:

  • Discussion/interview with caregivers.

  • Direct observation and interaction with the child using diagnostic tools.

In alignment with evidence-based practice, Autism assessment includes evaluation of:

  • Cognition

  • Social functioning

  • Emotional functioning

  • Communication

Based on the unique needs of each child our team utilizes one of the following assessments:

  • ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - Second Edition)

  • AAPLES (Autism Assessment for Preschoolers with Language Element Sequence).
