Harp Therapy at SLLC

Explore music through sound, rhythm and vibration

Harp Therapy brings the soothing sound and vibration of live harp music into a supportive setting for children. Each 30-minute session offers time to listen, explore and engage with music at a pace that feels comfortable for your child.

The gentle, predictable sounds of the harp can offer a calming sensory experience and create new opportunities for connection and engagement. Sessions are shaped around each child’s needs and interests.

Harp Therapy offers opportunities for:

  • A calming, soothing sensory experience

  • Exploring sound, rhythm and vibration

  • Connection and shared attention through music

  • Nonverbal ways to express interest and engage

  • A gentle complement to speech-language support
